Babel revisited

I read in the newspaper today that according to Australian scientists the Earth could become inhabitable for humans by 2030 due to man-made global warming. As if we needed more predictions of doom based on dubiously relevant data and oversimplified models. I’ll make an equally valid forecast: the Earth could become inhabitable for humans by 2030 due to global cooling. But, of course, anything in between is also possible.

Harassment

Atmospheric assault

Roman holiday

A Nigerian engineer with purported links to al-Qaeda breached impenetrable security precautions and boarded a plane at Amsterdam airport without a passport and aided by a well-dressed man, see this report. It is noteworthy the latter was not reported by the mainstream media. Just before landing the Nigerian attempted to explode some device containing a  “powdery substance”, but only succeeded in setting his legs on fire before he was incapacitated by passengers and crew. Hmm.
It’s been a while since “terrorists” did anything in the West to warrant the continuation of the devastating “war on terror”, so I suppose something might have been needed to fan the flames of dying revolt.

Danish blues 2

Damning revelations are continuing to emerge from the murky waters of the man-made global warming (AGW) issue. See this article.
It’s obviously more about gaining wealth and power than saving the planet – what a surprise. Data and reports are being manipulated by UN backed scientists kowtowing to the politicians and their elite masters. Leading members of the gloom-and-doom brigade, like Gore, are collectively going to make trillions from the selling of carbon credits.
The world wide policing of carbon emissions will heavily penalize taxpayers, already reeling under the blow of the financial collapse.
People, including journalists, seriously protesting in Copenhagen against AGW are being attacked and ridiculed for no good reason.
Isn’t it just awful?
If the world’s leaders today support this disgraceful state of affairs and reach an accord without asking for independent investigation of the issue then that says a lot about their motives.

Forced feeding

Are you fed up with all the fear mongering and badgering of the media and politicians? Well, I am as well.
Never a day goes by without a news story about one or other of the following subjects: climate change, vaccines, banks, money, and of course violence in all its forms.
I’m not saying that these subjects should not be reported, but there does seem to be an extraordinary overkill these days that appears to be increasing.
There is the propaganda telling us that the Earth is warming due to man’s output of carbon dioxide while other important issues of pollution get little attention, especially those where only the future of large industries is involved. There are all the violent series on TV, whether actual or fictional, that follow the activities of law enforcement agents in whatever disguises, and the violent and addictive computer games where one must kill to excess or be killed. These undoubtedly can and do have a disturbing influence on the mind, and the young and those already leaning towards violent behavior would seem to be particularly vulnerable.
Perhaps you can add a few more to the list?
If one looks for patterns, one might come to the conclusion that transmitted violence could be a way of softening us up for real violence, so that even morally and legally questionable policing actions are seen by the majority to be justified.
One might see behind the climate change nausea big business cracking its knuckles as another opportunity to drag money from our pockets looms attractively on the horizon.
Flu Vaccines are being promoted as never before, even though the circumstances surrounding the disease are unsupportive of the official hysteria involved. Considering the certain and serious dangers to public health that these concoctions themselves contain, one wonders why they are being thrust on the public in such a deliberate and seemingly inhuman fashion. Are they trying to kill or maim us?
The mainstream media and the politicians are seen to be effectively squashing open debate on the validity or otherwise of facts deciding public issues and anyone who dares to question them is certainly at risk of personal abuse.
In a free society people have the right to be acquainted with all the facts pertaining to important issues affecting the group or society as a whole and to have the last word via duly elected investigative committees. This is the basic assumption of any trial by jury. Unfortunately, to coin an old cliché which seems to be even more appropriate today, “Everyone has their price”.

Rising damp

There seems to be a glitch in the plans of the elite to rule the world and that’s the rise of China, Russia and Iran as a block against the imperialist expansion of the West. There is a risk for the elite that gold will return as the basis for trade eliminating fiat paper money to the shredder. A new currency will arise based on gold; so that how much gold you own determines how rich you are and no longer how much money you can print while living off the ordinary hard working folks.
These bankers and their cronies are so full of themselves as they blunder ahead convincing each other that they are the chosen saviors of the world, with mad ideas about living for ever and expanding their superior genes into the cosmos to force the rest of the Universe into submission.
Let’s build an earth sized statue to he who said it first, John Emerich Edward Dalberg Acton, first Baron Acton (1834–1902). This historian and moralist, who was otherwise known simply as Lord Acton, expressed the opinion in a letter to Bishop Mandell Creighton in 1887:
“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men.”
If only we could learn to cooperate to the benefit of all instead of building walls and pouring burning oil on those approaching our gates and attacking others purely for material gain, our world would, without any insurmountable deleterious effects, evolve into a natural state. Life and death are not beginnings and endings and only our illusionary fears try to maintain the form of our being beyond both extremes. Our essence is transmutable and cannot be destroyed – that is the fact that must be swallowed and digested. Our task is to do the best we can to build a world in which our children can progress and function optimally without fear or hindrance, a world in which all are one.
The laws of the universe demand it.

Fear mongering – 2

The media is at it again – fear mongering.

Now it’s a super volcano below Mount St. Helens that could devastate life on earth and maybe take yours before you can claim early retirement.

Fox News thinks it important that we all know about this just to sell another story and rake in the cash. That it brings unnecessary fear to many doesn’t appear to interest anyone at Fox.
Of course, we can’t do anything to avoid the repercussions of such an event so that enhances any feelings of helplessness too.

Do me a favor and bring us some positive news for a change or just shut up.

Those in power are doing enough to scare anyone for the time being.
