I don’t want to be an alarmist
But I fear an attack on Iran
The hawks and the madmen are certain
They’ve already drawn up a plan.
I’m sick of neurotic aggression
The crazed money grabbing tycoons
The leaders who thirst but for power
And other uncaring buffoons.
It’s all about world domination
And hogging the wealth for the few
And sod all the rest of the people
We really don’t count, me and you.
But they’re just as dead as the others
When bombs fall and fallout pollutes
When the enemy reaches the borders
And doesn’t look twice when he shoots.
Perhaps they will stop at the crossroads
Some sanity still may remain
And man will be saved from extinction
Until he sinks down once again.
