When your liberty’s gone
Will they sing a new song
The birds and the bees
And the wind in the trees?
Will the moon shining down
Perhaps then wear a frown
The Earth slow to peer
At your face drawn with fear?
Will you stand up at last
Now the die has been cast
Fight back now today
Against those who would prey?
Know that you’re not alone
Time to make them atone
Dues now they must pay
To those they would betray.
Let your voice now be heard
Drown their words too absurd
Watch them as they flee
Before we who are free.
