Oh wondrous rainbow, drawn from the light
By melted tears falling from heaven’s height
So near and yet always too far away
For me to bathe in your colorful sway.
Oh wondrous rainbow, Nature’s delight
Show me the beauty and calm of her might
Paint now the sky with your pallet of gold
Fill me with freshness as I too grow old.
Oh wondrous rainbow, necklace of light
Braiding the darkness and shining so bright
Queen of your realm parting showers and sun
Fading but slowly when your work is done.
